For those players at least intermediate standard (preferably stronger) wanting to play interclub competition, Monash Uni TC enters several weekend competition teams in local associations Tennis Victoria Pennant, WDTA and BRTA in winter and summer seasons.

Club coach Sam Soo runs informal social competitions on weeknights at the Monash Clayton courts during semester. These are aimed at beginner to intermediate standard players. Players of a slightly higher standard are welcome to enter but might not get a variety of suitable opponents.
