Home	2011 Monash University Tennis Club Championships September 3, 4, 10 (& 11 if required) - Mens knockout Singles (Open, B, C) & Womens round-robin Singles September 11 - Mixed Doubles round-robin September 17, 18 - Mens knockout Doubles and Womens round-robin Doubles All events start 11.15am and play continues until 5.30pm. Please note that tournament grades do not correspond directly to WDTA grades Courts available for hitting up 15 minutes before events start Wilson Australian Open tennis balls will be used for all matches Trophies presented to all winners & runners-up at presentation night later this year. Knockout events ‘best-of-two-sets’ rubbers (automatic super tiebreak at one set each). Players in knockout singles events will get at least 20 minutes break between singles rubbers. Round-Robin events either three or four 6-game sets or two 8-game sets, followed by finals. Players may enter two singles events, the event they qualify for + Open event, provided scheduling is not adversely affected, but such players will not be guaranteed a break between rubbers in different singles events. Starting Times and Draws Not all matches will start 11.15am. Draws & match times will be sent to players by email and/or SMS several days prior to events and will also be available on the club website. ENTRY FEES FOR ALL EVENTS #Members: Singles $10, Doubles $7 per player. Non-members: Singles $15, Doubles $10 per player. # Member means Monash Uni Tennis Club member for winter 2011 or summer 2011/2012. MENS OPEN SINGLES: available to all players but suitable for Tennis Vic Pennant grade 6 or better MENS B SINGLES: Tennis Vic Pennant grades 7-10 MENS C SINGLES: Tennis Vic Pennant grade 11 or sub-pennant standard Please note that pennant grades refer to 2010 or 2011 grades (i.e. after consolidation of lower grades). If you don't have recent Tennis Vic pennant experience, please email contact Shaun Yeoh at sy.88@hotmail.com or 0430 410 488 for advice on which grade you can enter. Players unable to supply sufficient information on their playing standard may not be allowed to enter.
